What will the job entail?

As a TLC driver, your job will be to transport passengers to various locations throughout New York City, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Queens.
Passengers may be going to work, attending important appointments, or simply using the service for their daily commutes.

Drivers are expected to drive safely, arrive on time, and maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with passengers.

How much can you earn daily?

Earnings depend on the number of hours you work.

Typically, drivers earn between $200 and $450 per day.

The more hours you work, the more you earn.

Payment is made weekly.

Drivers receive an app where they can track their trips and earnings.

Daily Responsibilities

As a driver, you will be responsible for the following:

• Safely transporting passengers to their destinations
• Assisting passengers with boarding and alighting the vehicle as needed
• Maintaining punctuality for pick-ups and drop-offs
• Collecting fares from passengers and accurately recording them
• Communicating any issues or changes to the dispatch team

 

This job is not difficult, but it requires attention to detail and responsibility.

What are the requirements for this job? If you want to apply for this TLC driver job, you must have the following:

Class E driver’s license (must be valid)

Active TLC license

No major traffic violations or convictions in the last 3 years

Must be at least 18 years old

Must have good communication skills with passengers

Must pass a drug test before joining
